Job Details
The student will gain experience in:
- Assisting day-to-day running of the atelier
- Pattern and sample cutting
- 3D work - Creative pattern cutting
- Machine and hand stitching
- Fabric manipulation
- Archiving
- Preparations for seasonal shows
The work experience placement is only available to students in tertiary education. There will be no payment for this work experience placement but travel expenses will be covered.
The length of placement is 6 weeks minimum, up to 3 months maximum if accredited by your university and will begin in June.
