Reporting to the Product Development Manager working within the RTW Product Development department the Junior Product Developer will be responsible for the product development of the Women’s RTW collections, from the first concept to the collection handover to the production team.

Your Mission

    • Handling daily tasks and resolving issues of the WRTW Product Development.
    • Adhere to company’s product development calendar, tracking collections progress and solving issues in order to meet collection objectives and strict deadlines.
    • Continuous update of the collection overviews, range plans and collection documents.
    • Working closely with the design team to create sketch launch packs and ensuring the smooth handover to the factories.
    • Daily communication with factories in Italy to support the development process and monitor the proto and sample progress, highlighting issues and potential risks to the Product Development Manager.
    • Active participation in prototype, sample and pre-production fittings and communication of fit notes to suppliers.
    • Allocation of styles to fabrics and preparation of BOM documents for the factories.
    • Sending, tracking and archiving of prototypes, vintage garments, samples, trials, swatches and maintaining all tracking spreadsheets.
    • Participation in the organization of fashion shows, collection events, look book shoots, sales presentations.
    • Assisting with special projects for VIP clients, red carpet events, capsule collections etc.
    • Sales book sketches and fabric sheets preparation for the sales campaign.
    • Communication with press office for the loans of the collection samples.
    • Supporting the product development team with any ad hoc additional duties.


Your Talent

    • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably working in luxury womenswear fashion
    • Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
    • Clear knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes
    • Technical knowledge of garment construction and finishing techniques
    • Ability to multi task, set priorities and meet deadlines
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English, Italian language required
    • Availability to travel abroad for fittings, fashion week events, collection presentations etc.


Systems and Essentials

    • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS-Office
