JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Site Merchandising is responsible for the strategy and execution of toryburch.com site merchandising across the US and EU sites. This candidate will lead site refreshes, building out best practices, guiding principles, and testing strategy/optimization of the site experience for the Tory Burch consumer. In addition to managing the US and EU sites, this role will be a key liaison to our ecommerce sites in China, the Middle East and Japan, sharing best practices and providing ongoing guidance. This individual will collaborate with various business units (Buying, Product Management, Creative, and Marketing) to drive the brand vision and optimize the customer experience on ToryBurch.com. Reports to the Director, Site Experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

SITE MERCHANDISING
  • Lead site merchandising strategy, product set-up, and site curation following best practices while continually defining and implementing optimizations
  • Develop & execute monthly briefs for key storytelling and selling pages (Homepage, landing pages, featured shops, product grids and detail pages). Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to understand seasonal vision, key messages, and new product introductions for on-site execution.
  • Own site experience data report-outs to cross functional partners and leadership team, evaluating for actionable insights and articulating plan
  • Partner with CRM on user flows and experience for targeted initiatives: Early Access to products/events, gift with purchase, etc
  • Conduct monthly reviews of competitor best practices - merchandising tactics, navigational elements, features/functions to continue to understand trends and identify areas of opportunity

A/B TESTING
  • Analyze site metrics and qualitative data to drive measurable improvements of site navigation, engagement, and conversion
  • Create and drive testing roadmap: strategy based on hypotheses and data, report outcomes to leadership.
  • Partner with Product Management team on business requirements/timing for building proven tests into platform

INTERNATIONAL
  • Directly support EU sites and execution, including region-specific updates as needed
  • Provide best practices and guiding principles to our ecommerce teams in China, Japan and the Middle East that support brand vision and cohesive global customer experience


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-6 years of experience working in ecommerce management, with a close focus on content, site merchandising, site optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and successfully execute plans to drive business performance
  • Relevant Site Merchandising experience, including loading product catalogs, managing attribution/filters, on-site search, features/functions optimizations, building seasonal shops and aligning product to content
  • Experience building strategy and executing A/B and multivariate testing
  • Strong analytical skills in assessing large amounts of data and distilling down to actionable insights for leadership team
  • Experience managing a team
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with:
    • Salesforce Commerce Cloud
    • Adobe Experience Manager
    • Google Analytics
    • Project management tools: Airtable, Jira & Confluence
    • UX Design Collaboration tools: InVision
    • Microsoft Office tools: Advanced Excel, Powerpoint
