Overview

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager will lead the implementation of the global communication strategy for all brand initiatives within the Americas markets. The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager will ensure that their specific market has the necessary tools to create compelling communications programs and materials to support brand initiatives and launches.

Overseeing all PR related and marketing activities, including Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing (Social and CRM), Wholesale and Retail, and Paid Media. The role requires a deep understanding of Stella McCartney’s brand and customer mindset specifically in the Americas region.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager will focus on the development of relationships with internal and external parties to deliver a strong communication plan to support the business goals and objectives.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager will directly manage the local Communications team and will support the Americas commercial business reporting into the US President. Functionally, the role will report to the Global Communications Director and the Global Marketing Director.

Your Mission:

· Develop and Execute the global communications and marketing strategies within the Americas region in line with the global strategy, maximizing local opportunities and initiatives.

· Responsible for the development of communication strategies to accelerate growth and engagement of our audiences across all channels within the region.

· Working closely with the global PR, events and VIP team on enhancing brand awareness in the market and ensure synergy with the global brand image.

· Roll out annual, seasonal and monthly marketing strategies for Stella McCartney in line with the Global mission. This includes marketing concept, goals and objectives, creative briefs, through to timelines, budgets and execution.

· Regular (daily, weekly, monthly) reporting on performance and in-depth analysis for relevant stakeholders and to inform implementation recommendations for optimization.

· Ensuring budget is used effectively to achieve commercial goals

· Working closely with the global Marketing teams to gain a strong understanding of the business needs and set seasonal communications calendars accordingly (wholesale team, retail team).

· Work with headquarters team to build partnerships and a community of social content for your region, tailored to suit the digital trends.

· Work cross functionally to activate initiatives that connect the instore and digital experience to advance Omni experience for customers, working to bring the best of both worlds together for a better Stella McCartney brand story.

· Evaluate relevant data/analytics for your region to ensure campaigns are tracked and always optimized .

· Communicate with local teams to ensure campaigns and messages are done effectively.

· Support the Global CRM team with implementation of modern systems and strategy.

· Set benchmark goals and KPIs, create monthly and quarterly reporting on how we are tracking, and advise on ways to optimize.

· Ensure all campaigns regionally are forecast correctly and delivered within budget.

· Working cross-functionally across the Image & Content, Brand Marketing, E-commerce teams.

· Working closely with the Head of VIP and Influencers on all press and influencer activities.

Your Talent:

· Exceptional understanding of the luxury fashion industry and the retail business in selected market.

· Previous experience in creating and implementing a global communication and marketing strategy at regional management level.

· Strong interpersonal skills, proactive ability and gravitas to maintain relationships and to influence and persuade others.

· Analytical with a strong KPI and ROI mindset

· Strong network of contacts

· Being a true creative, store telling and understanding how to shape messages.

· Multichannel digital marketing background.

· Proven track record running successful marketing and communications teams and delivering results in a commercial environment.

· Deep understanding of social media and online marketing.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to successfully manage, develop and inspire a team.

· Impeccable presentation and communication skills, both verbally and written

· Experience in budget management

· Strong experience working with third parties to develop seasonal marketing plans

· Strong experience working and coordination internally across departments

· Commercially minded, quickly responding to business/market needs.

· Creative thinker, with the ability to think outside the box and an eye for detail

· Strong team player who is able to work across multiple teams

· High work ethic, integrity and reliability with a “hands on” attitude and execution led

· Interest in the product and brand
