We are a scrappy team that is scaling user acquisition and retention marketing quickly across Faherty. We’re looking for an in-house Manager, Affiliate/Influencer marketing that is proactive, forward-thinking, resourceful, comfortable working effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborative by nature. This team member should have strong skills in their field and demonstrate agility and flexibility in a fast-paced season of growth. The right candidate for this role will be analytical, creative, and great at managing partnerships, with strong communication skills to effectively align intent, actions and results internally and externally. This team member will analyze data, execute affiliate campaigns with publishers and influencers, establish the appropriate optimization and next steps, manage vendors and publisher/influencer relationships, and assist in the roll-out or integration of new marketing initiatives within the affiliate space. 

This role is within the Growth Marketing team, working alongside the paid social, paid media, and email marketing managers but will work closely with PR, organic social, creative, brand marketing, ecommerce and merchandising functions to flawlessly communicate, and execute on DTC campaigns. 

 

Responsible for:

  • Implement & streamline affiliate processes within affiliate platforms such as: Impact radius, CJ, skim links, etc.
  • Work with Faherty internal team to craft a strategic roadmap, focused on product marketing and new customer acquisition
  • Scale the program by vetting publishers and influencers within Faherty’s affiliate platform, as well as reaching out to publishers outside of the platform
  • Immediately audit the Affiliate channel and identify areas of optimization within current program
  • Thoughtfully craft affiliate strategy around each publisher or influencer & set partner-specific commissions: 
    • Understand which partners are contributing to high intent upper funnel new traffic vs closing the sale
    • Consider partner’s audience, as it relates to our product mix and customer type
  • Test strategies by partner, lean into initiative that drive high incrementality
  • Manage daily communication with new and existing affiliate partners; negotiate terms & ensure that the brand is included in relevant articles and publications for each season
  • Work very closely with PR counterpart to cross-coordinate communication to publishers
  • Ability to manage effectively to new and repeat customer ROAS goals
  • Weekly documentation of performance results, by strategic initiative (include campaign link reporting, GA session metrics, new vs repeat customers, ROI) & reporting on future initiatives
  • Perform weekly optimizations: reverse payouts, blacklisting promo codes, keeping banners & links up to date
  • Pull and analyze data across multiple reporting channels, including GA, and Shopify
  • Produce creative briefs, as needed, to showcase new ads for each season/campaign
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Social, Brand, Creative and Merchandising) to understand overall strategy, season planning, and seasonal buys
  • Stay up-to date on affiliate marketing & partnership best practices and trends and implement them for Faherty

 

Must have qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data-driven digital, specifically in affiliate, PR or influencer marketing
  • Experience vetting affiliates and/or influencers, and negotiating commission terms
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and drive processes, even when resources are limited
  • Proven ability to creative solutions to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on achieving results
  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative team player
  • Hungry to grow within a fast-paced company; eager to take on new tasks and help where needed
  • Proactive in thought and execution, you’re always 1 step ahead and can quickly analyze situations to find the best solution
  • Strong experience and enthusiasm for pulling and analyzing platform marketing data, for an ecommerce company, while optimizing toward ROAS goal! 
  • Thoroughly understand platform optimization levers, and when each should be used
  • Quick learner, with the desire to become an omni-channel marketer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Responsible and accountable, adapts quickly and positively to change
  • Eager to analyze, optimize and problem solve within existing channels, while also able to retain information and apply it in future situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
