Position Overview
To help bring the American dream with a European twist to our consumers, the Director of Digital Merchandising and his/her team will ensure that the Ralph Lauren product presentation on the RL European e-commerce sites is consistent with RL Brand, the overall EU and global RLD Merchandise Strategy. This key and strategic role will be instrumental in establishing a unique, seamless customer journey and experience across all the RLE-EU sites, whatever platform the consumer is navigating through and in so doing will focus on optimizing the Path to Purchase, increasing the Click-through-rate, maximizing Conversion Rates and UPT. The Digital Trading Assistant executes the trade plan within a specific brand/product area which is the interface between Digital Buying, Digital Marketing and RLD Business Partner to make sure brand-, product and commerce needs are fulfilled to the best in its class. They will utilize analytical data to drive performance across all websites to enable the business to grow further driving conversion and executing the trading plan. The Digital Trading Team will showcase the most compelling and aspirational assortment in the most efficient, user-friendly and high-quality environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Digital Trading
• Support the team to e-commerce trade plan.
• Optimize online user experience including navigation, shopping journey and onsite search.
• Execute the seasonal site merchandising strategy.
• Ensure appropriate products are online and merchandised in line with brand and customer expectations.
• Optimize Path to Conversion to drive revenue and work with cross-functional teams to bring the brand to life
• Use all available tools to increase site performance.
• Review sales forecasts in line with current performance; suggest actions to maximize sales opportunities.
• Help prepare seasonal kick-off and lessons learned meetings.
• Provide weekly site reports to the manager and director with actions to be taken.
• Participate in weekly trade meetings.
• Prep site for sale, new season and marketing campaigns.
• Continual visual merchandising of the site to maximize customer experience and conversion.
• Digital asset management. Creative Management & QA
• Work with global teams to provide EU site-specific information for creative purposes.
• QA new technology and creative pages.
• Seasonal national ad's management.
• Key point person for Digital assets, ensure all assets are in place seasonally. Achieve Financial Targets and maximize customer satisfaction
• Ensure successful execution of tasks to achieve financial RLE-EU Plans.
• Evaluate site-wide performance in relation to forecast KPI's and provide reports/insights to the manager.
• Maximize customer satisfaction, by shortening the Path to Purchase and contribute to the profitability of RLE-EU KPI's and Analytics
• Optimize against key performance indicators e.g. Click-Through-Rate, Bounce rate, Conversion rate, UPT, AOV, for all RLE-EU sites.
• Share applicable learning's and recommends opportunities to the manager.
• Review online analytics, customer data and other company insight to formulate actionable insights that actively drive forward the website merchandising experience, always putting the customer & sales at the forefront of consideration - participate in trade meetings. Key Performance Indicators Successful Digital Trading: Make sure all RLE-EU selected products are represented online in a timely manner and in line with brand and customer expectations. Personalization and Dynamic Site Merchandising: successfully use the dynamic site merchandising tools, build business rules and share results with the wider organization Achieve Financial Targets Achieve financial fiscal RLE-EU targets (e.g. sales plan, GM value plan etc. Creative Management: Ensure all styles deploy in line with seasonal buy timelines, act as the key point person for creative admin and assets.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Intermediate skills in Excel
• Some knowledge on analytics a plus
• Analytical and confident to take action.
• Strong preference for candidates with some understanding of best practices in user experience and drivers of conversion
• Thinks creatively.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Comprehensive brand and market/competitive knowledge across Europe
• Knowledge in SAP hybris a plus
• Effective written and oral communications skills, with particular sensitivity to global communication needs.
