Job Details
We are looking for a talented Merchandise Analyst to join our small and busy team. Please read below carefully for details of the role AND what we would like you to bring regarding experience and skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysing demand trends across Wholesale, E-commerce, and Retail to forecast and plan group procurement across all product divisions.
- Help manage stock and sales at category level for the current trading conditions and season.
- Report weekly and monthly category trade, providing accurate information to relevant stakeholders, aiding trading decisions and proposing actions where relevant.
- Forecast SKU and category sales, combining current performance, seasonal and market trends.
- Identify category risks and opportunities; recommending activity to increase sales and profit and decrease stock risk.
- Analyse and provide feedback on sales by style, colour, size contributing to future design development.
- Be involved in the range planning and data analysis in preparation of buying appointments.
- Help organise and attend sales campaigns as well as help with selling appointments virtually & digitally.
- Oversee and manage all initial orders, reorders, and swaps for across all channels.
- Enter all return authorisations.
- Complete all internal transfers for E-commerce and Retail team.
- Send out weekly stock list to WS clients, E-commerce & Retail team.
- Compile selling and booking analytics when required by Sales team
- Coordinate Spare part or production requests between WS, Retail and Production teams
- Run weekly Monday reporting for trade for E-commerce & Retail.
- Run weekly Global stock report
- Run weekly sell through report for E-commerce & Retail.
WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU HAVE
Essential
- Demonstrable experience working within a Buying & Merchandising function
- At least intermediate level Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, able to summarise complex data and present it in a concise and clear manner.
Desirable
- Previous experience working for a Retailer.
- Experience working within an organisation with an online or digital presence.
- People management or training experience
