What You’ll Do

This role is accepting applicants based in NYC or Atlanta, GA.

Key responsibilities for this role:

Manage weekly emails, which includes these phases: Build, Stage, Plan/Schedule, Deploy, Clean and Report:

  • BUILD: email templates, appropriate audiences, obtain creative assets, and set up tracking links
  • STAGE: prepare and QC daily/weekly emails, follow approval process defined by Email/SMS Manager
  • PLAN/SCHEDULE: schedule weekly and monthly email deployment 1-2 months in advance 
  • DEPLOY: ensure max audience delivery, establish optimal time of day/time zone based on testing
  • CLEAN - clean lists
  • REPORT – complete reporting tracking document provided by Email/SMS Manager

Manage SMS campaigns, which includes:

  • BUILD and QC SMS messages, follow approval process defined by Email/SMS Marketing Manager
  • SCHEDULE SMS deployment 1-2 months in advance
  • DEPLOY based on max audience delivery
  • REPORT – complete reporting tracking document provided by Email/SMS Manager

 

  • Create batch send emails and emails for automated campaigns
  • Build and provide ongoing maintenance of email templates to ensure deliverability and usability
  • Build and maintain landing pages, popups, forms for sweepstakes and events, email acquisition forms, etc. using our marketing CRM platform
  • Monitor and analyze success of email marketing efforts to make recommendations for ongoing improvements
  • Assist in developing and executing consumer acquisition programs to drive new consumer sign-ups via email and SMS
  • Provide creative resource with necessary direction and deadlines for assets; ensure assets are received by deadlines 
  • Work with Email/SMS Manager to establish benchmarks and KPIs for all campaigns
  • Continuously monitor and optimize email and SMS performance
  • Work with Email/SMS Manager to identity triggers for trigger emails and flows for automation 
  • Stay up to date on email and SMS marketing trends, best-in-class examples, personalization, etc.

  • Experience and confidence presenting data-supported recommendations to all levels of management 
  • Strong attention to detail. Task driven and organized with exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items, while effectively managing changing priorities
  • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
