Description
As PR & Communication Manager you will be developing and driving Mlouye’s PR strategy, implementing brand communication on a global scale to grow brand awareness and recognition, and involved in marketing activities. The role is highly cross-functional across product, brand strategy, and marketing. You will report directly to our Creative Director.
*You will be based out of our UK or US offices, however, you will need to be able to work remotely.
Your Areas of Responsibility
- Building our communications strategy to communicate the brand message on a global scale.
- Building unique storytelling, creating stories that capture both media interest and consumer attention.
- Develop a global strategy for product placements in cooperation with influencers, VIPs, celebrities.
- Managing relationships with external PR agencies and developing comprehensive agency strategy for Mlouye.
- Coordinating the production of photo shooting and artistic collaborations for upcoming product/collection launches.
- Supporting social media by coordinating in-house or outsourced content production.
- Responsible for written communication such as press releases, brand books, biographies, website copy, interviews, etc.
- Develop and maintain brand relationships with retail partners. Support the wholesale team with necessary marketing assets.
- Handling press requests, managing sample, and gifting trafficking, maintain sample archiving, managing social media on a daily basis.
- Working closely with the CEO to manage PR budget such as agency fees, expenses, event budgets.
If you are/have
- 5 years of PR experience either in-house or agency preferably within the luxury or niche fashion brands.
- Extensive network with editors in lifestyle/fashion publications and magazines as well as in social media including celebrities.
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and global level.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, being able to produce work efficiently and completely.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and accountability for the brand.
- A team player who is hardworking and dedicated.
- Creative thinker, and have an eye for detail.
- Desire to be a part of a small team, flexible, and has the ability to pivot as needed to accomplish company goals.
- Interest in Contemporary Culture: Fashion, Design, Music, Photography, and Art.
