POSTION:

The Creative Services Project Manager will take the lead on the creation and implementation of systems, processes, and tools that increase efficiency and effectiveness of brand & digital marketing, e-commerce and creative services teams.  They are meticulously organized, detail-oriented and have excellent time-management skills.  A successful candidate will show leadership, mentorship and motivation, and a willingness to dig in, roll up their sleeves and adapt to changing business needs.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PLAN + ORGANIZE:  Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to enable a high-functioning brand marketing, e-commerce and digital marketing pipeline.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management process by persistently identifying opportunities for improvement, working with team to enhance efficiency and implementing new processes as needed.
  • COLLABORATE + COMMUNICATE:  Serve as the liaison between the Marketing/Creative team, internal cross-functional departments and external partners and agencies with regard to project status, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Facilitate relationships between teams by moving processes forward, planning and assigning resources, reworking schedule, raising concerns to appropriate owners early and identifying and resolving issues that prevent progress.
  • Proactively foster brand and business partner relationships, anticipate issues, and mediate between teams to develop resourceful solutions. 
  • Lead gatekeeper for all creative briefs; ensuring communication, objectives, strategies, hierarchy of messaging, product details and other pertinent information is provided before projects are assigned and delegated. 
  • Drive prioritization of all creative projects based on evaluation of team’s overall workflow, upcoming projects, ability to execute project deliverables.
  • Document and apply key learnings in order to build better and more efficient processes for the future.
  • Advise on and implement project management software to help the team stay on top of timelines and track progress
  • Facilitate planning of photoshoots, establishing concepts, shot lists in conjunction with internal and external partners.
  • Manage Photography/Creative Services Budget

  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships internally and externally. Maintains a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knows the importance and value of clear, timely communications.
  • Able to facilitate cross-functional discussions across different seniority levels to get to a productive outcome. 
  • Passionate about streamlining processes to drive business results. 
  • Can manage and navigate through ambiguity.
  • Proactive self-starter capable of operating with minimal supervision.
  • Adept with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, and with online collaboration tools.  
  • Familiar with print and online media, digital design
  • Ability to train and assist employees as necessary
  • Ability to give creative direction and feedback to design team 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred 
  • 3-6 years’ experience in highly complex, fast-paced creative marketing environment 
  • Highly organized, with a strategic approach to team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Top-notch written and visual communication skills (Project Management tools)
  • Understanding and POV on contemporary culture, creativity and fashion specifically in NYC
