Position Overview
The Associate Art Director is responsible for creating and delivering visual materials that inspire and captivate the consumer while creating a consistent brand representation across all channels. This role sits as a hybrid between graphic design and art direction, with skills and experience in both fields.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Collaborate with Art Director, Project Managers, Copywriters and Head of Brand Creative to deliver a range of band content deliverables
* Produce campaign concepts, develop reference materials, source visuals, and provide creative input across image and video concept development
* Work with Sr. Creative Leadership to refine concept work across all creative elements, including but not limited to photo and video direction, graphic design, and third-party creative collaboration.
* Actively create and maintain pre-production documents, materials and decisions (in partnership with art director or as self-driven)
* Follow through with production of imagery by collaborating with internal & external pre & post-production
* Manage retouching to a high standard and taste level
* Ensure that all projects are within deadlines and budget constraints
* Build upon current design aesthetics, while adhering to the Ralph Lauren brand standards (print, web, etc).
* Adapt campaign aesthetics across a range of deliverables and manage consistency of vision
* Develop consistent visual voice across all materials
* This role will focus on Polo Men's & Family of Business

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Experience and interest working with photography - from laying out and editing supplied photography, to assisting art directors create shoot concepts
* Experience and interest working with video - from developing concepts to working with editors and motion artists
* Professional experience, preferably with a fashion company or creative agency
* Expertise in Adobe Suite- specifically in Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote; working knowledge of other current design applications
* Experience with Ai (Illustrator) and Premiere and After Effects
* Bachelor's Degree in Graphic / Art Design or related discipline preferred
* Excellent understanding of typography
* Experience working with retouchers
* Experience working with video editors
* Strong attention to detail when finalizing designs
* Ability to effectively communicate with business partners at all levels; present and defend work product
* Strong time management and ability to multitask
* Adaptive design eye and skill
