Product & Production Assistant

An exciting opportunity in our production team for a Product & Production Assistant. Successful candidates will help assist on various product development activities. This role is primarily for a dedicated individual who shows a genuine interest in the fashion industry and a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of product development.

This role is based at our head office in Tottenham Court Road, Central London and will report to the Senior Product and Production Coordinator.

In order to consider, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Primary Objectives:

• To assist on product development and in-house/UK production, and work closely with all relevant QASIMI departments (Design, Tech and Commercial)
• To be responsible for all administrative tasks for the Product Development department

Responsibilities:

• Assist on the product creation process from initial concept through to commercialisation and production to ensure on time development and delivery
• Manage internal/external raw material stock levels for fabrics/ trims and keep up to date fabrics/ trims library
• Follow up on raw material selections, lab dips request and orders with suppliers
• Liaise and work closely with the QASIMI office based in Amsterdam on a regular basis
• Upload data entry in Zedonk – raw materials and products
• Participate in the proto fits/ pre-production fits, ensure all Bill of Materials are updated accordingly to style amendments
• Work closely with the garment technician to ensure updated information are communicated to the factories and protos are sent back in due time
• Monitor all shipments in/out of the studio and with factories
• Keep up to date all administrative records of the PD department (order confirmation, invoices, fabric technical sheets, contact lists,…)

Competencies and Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Proficient in retail math
• Zedonk and PLM knowledge
• Understanding and knowledge of luxury garment and fabric construction
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Previous experience in product, production, sourcing or buying is a plus
• Multiple languages beneficial
