Responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the project process in line with the Architecture processes. Represent Burberry on the project team and ensure that all are running within programme, budget and design standard.


Design coordination
  • To connect with local architect in site survey to verify site restrictions and code requirement in supporting Business case pack preparation
  • To have good understanding of architectural drawing and MEP drawings and get involved design review process with regional stakeholders

Procurement / Purchase Order /Tendering
  • To monitor and issue purchase order to supplier, contractors and consultant across South Korea region to ensure that the timely appointments are made, fee levels are appropriate, schedules of activities, insurance levels etc
  • To manage and coordinate with suppliers and respective logistic partners for the direct procurement items for projects across South Korea region.
  • Prepare documentation for payment process, tracking of payment status and forecast of cashflow.
  • Support on tendering by preparing the tender documentation including form of tender, schedule of rates, tender comparison etc. in line with Cost & Contract Manager Asia Pacific.
  • Drafting of standard forms of contract with Legal department and coordination on execution in line with Cost & Contract Manager, Asia Pacific.
  • Review of insurance provisions with respective insurance/ risk team and provide regular update in line with Cost & Contract Manager, Asia Pacific.

  • To lead and support on minor/ reinstatement projects, work with stakeholders, Landlord, contractor and consultant for coordination and execution.
  • To support / manage, ensure performance, carry out inspections both on and off-site of the works by the General Contractor /Millworker in accordance with the Programme, the Cost Plan and the design approved by Burberry in writing and to a quality consistent with a luxury store.
  • To collect and submit project progress report and completion report on weekly basis.

  • Maintain the Global Project Planner updated on a weekly basis with high accuracy according to agreed formatting rules
  • To work in accordance with the Burberry Architecture processes, including any updates and guidance notes
  • To ensure accurate and complete filing of all project documentation within the filing structure

Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability
  • Work in accordance with the project lifecycle in order to exploit opportunities and apply agreed initiatives in sustainability matters. Objectives range from migrant worker policy, waste management, and energy efficiencies, and building certification (BREEAM / LEED)


  • Degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Project management or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years retail project experience, luxury brand preferably.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, Korean with ability in other languages highly advantageous.
  • High level of computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office/ AutoCAD/ Adobe
  • LEED GA, AP qualification is advantageous
