AR Specialist

We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, talented and driven individual with a good understanding of Accountancy to join our busy team.

The role is varied and will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable function ensuring all processes are streamlined and all month-end deadlines are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have owned the accounts receivable function for over 2 years in their previous role and also understand the intricacies of retail sales reconciliations.  An integral position within the admin team and is responsible for ensuring seamless cohesion between our Head Office and Store.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reconciliation of all sales and receivables for the store and E-Shop
• Act as main point of contact with the store for takings reconciliations
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and all discrepancies must be resolved
• Liaise with merchant services and Premier Tax Free
• Daily cashbook update
• Bank posting of GBP, EUR, USD, JPY accounts
• Raise monthly inter-company recharges
• Support the Management Accountant during month-end

The Ideal Candidate

Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years accounts Receivable & Sales reconciliation
• Double entry book-keeping
• Intermediate Excel knowledge
• Retail and e-commerce background
• Experience in working with Sage X3 ERP and Retail Pro (not essential)
