Position Overview
The Manager of Business Development for Wholesale Digital & e-Commerce will support financial planning and strategic initiatives for Ralph Lauren's third-party businesses online in North America. As a member of the Wholesale Digital & e-Commerce team, working in close partnership with North America Sales, Finance, and Marketing, this role will capture, report, and inform forecasting of digital retail sales and related KPI's across department stores, specialty, and online pureplays. This role will be critical in supporting the strategic direction for dedicated e-commerce business planning and driving special projects to support continued growth and profitability, aggregating data across numerous diverse sources and synthesizing into a long-range plan for the channel while ensuring distribution and assortment productivity in-season. The position will act as project manager for cross-functional and cross-category initiatives that support the continued growth and expansion of the online footprint for the Ralph Lauren brands, including new distribution and conversion tactics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Support development of topline annual budgets and long range plans for sales and key KPIs in partnership with senior leaders, aligning with both North America Wholesale and Direct to Consumer e-Commerce objectives across Business Planning and Finance teams throughout the budget process · Build robust dedicated reporting, leveraging new tools and platforms to aggregate from diverse data sources; assess availability of data and partner internally and externally to build clear, concise, full picture weekly · Evaluate topline, product, and account forecasts in-season, identifying risks and opportunities; develop channel-specific weekly phasing based on unique inventory and promotions vs brick & mortar · Analyze historical and trending KPIs, calendar shifts and promotional/markdown cadences to ensure profitability, collaborating on channel-specific promotions such as app-only offers and affiliate marketing · Review operational and marketing costs, analyzing ROI by lever to maximize investments in partnership with Wholesale Marketing; advocate, secure, and validate spend to achieve sales and engagement targets · Assess assortment productivity and omni-channel fulfillment impact, distinguishing between online demand and shipped sales, to maximize inventory · Act as project manager on all team deliverables including quarterly business reviews, board meetings, leadership alignment calls, and top-to-top meetings with accounts, formulating strategic point-of-view in clear, concise, compelling presentations · Create a culture of collaboration and act as a digital thought-leader within the organization, attending markets to articulate digital-specific targets and strategies to account partners and aligning with Direct to Consumer e-Commerce team to ensure synergies across the brand's digital ecosystem within the region

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Experience within business development, planning/allocation, or buying
* Previous profit & loss responsibility, with demonstrated business acumen and strategic vision
* Prior ownership of retail financial forecasting, assortment building, and KPI reporting
* Exceptional facility with Excel and diverse data reporting sources
* Excellent project management and written/verbal communication skills
* Skilled in synthesizing data into actionable insights in a concise, clear format
* Strong leadership experience, with previous management of direct reports
* Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Prior experience at a large, matrixed, best-in-class retailer or brand preferred
