Coach was founded in 1941 as a family-run workshop, and today is a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections. We attribute the prominence of the Coach brand to the unique combination of our original American attitude and design, our heritage of fine leather goods and custom fabrics, our superior product quality, and our commitment to the customer experience.

At Coach, we bring together strong, collaborative people in a culture of mutual respect, support, accountability, and passion for the brand and product. Our goal is to offer an inspirational and modern workplace that allows for exceptional talent to thrive.

An owner of the men's verbal identity from campaign concepting through to copywriting, this role is a dual report and supports the Director of Editorial & Concept and the Director of Omnichannel Copy.

A key creative and strategic cross-functional role, this person will work with partners in social media, men's brand, creative, talent, 3D digital experiential, marketing and men's design studio.

Inclusivity is at the core of Coach, and while this role drives awareness to the men's business, it is irrespective of gender and this person will work across a broad range of men's and gender-inclusive projects too.

- Ideate, pitch and execute 360 men's campaigns for seasonal projects, product launches and collaborations: develop engaging, on-brand storytelling, taglines and messaging.
- Name men's products and Coach codes.
- Write men's press releases.
- Script men's talent.
- Partner with creative and social to imagine new storytelling ideas and franchises for men.
- Own and evolve the men's section of the Coach Copy Style Guide.
The accomplished individual will possess...

- A strong interest and cultural fluency in men's (and all) cultures and subcultures, and industry and lifestyle trends.
- Excellent and versatile writing skills with the ability and confidence to challenge the status quo.
- Strong conceptual skills with intuitive knowledge of how copy relates to design, graphics and concept inspiration.
- A sense of ownership and accountability for work and team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Proven experience presenting concepts to senior leadership.
- Strong competitive knowledge of best-in-class fashion/editorial voice.
- The ability to fact-check, self edit and proofread own work.
- A strong knowledge of relevant social media platforms and popular culture.

The outstanding professional will have...

- 4+ years of editorial and copywriting; luxury/fashion experience in the men's arena.
- Excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a nimble manner.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a good sense of humor.
