Job Details

Shaku is a newly launched luxury accessories brand based in London. The London-based brand is synonymous with time-honoured techniques, tradition and modernity, and is in line with slow fashion. Sophisticated designs have multi-generational appeal and are heirlooms to be passed down, not discarded within a season. Immune to fleeting, passing trends, they are intended to be loved and worn for decades to come.

We are excited to open our first long term pop-up shop in St John's Wood and we are looking to find a knowledgeable and capable Boutique Manager to help us with our first retail venture. It will be a great opportunity and challenge where you will be instrumental in helping us develop and succeed with our in-person retail.

As Boutique Manager, your responsibilities would be:

Provide impeccable customer service in a luxury boutique
Manage the customer journey and experience
Host customer appointments, both in person and virtually
Build customer relationships and brand loyalty
Actively sell to walk-in customers, and continually seek new customers
Manage and monitor store stock and merchandise presentation
Ensure general tidiness and cleanliness of the boutique at all times
Monthly reporting on sales against targets and KPI’s
Manage the staff rota and provide help and training where necessary
Prepare for and manage in-store events throughout the six months

We are looking for:

At least 3 years experience as a Retail Associate in a luxury fashion environment
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPI's
Highly motivated and results-driven, with initiative and a positive attitude
Excellent administrative skills, detail-oriented
Ability to use POS apps
Very strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English
A team player who likes to work in a very dynamic environment
Knowledge of garment design, industry and market trends beneficial
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google docs
Excellent time management
Comfortably able to commute to St John's Wood High Street

We are delighted to offer a competitive salary package including commission.

The role would start a few days before the pop-up is launched in June 2021, and will continue for 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent if the pop-up is successful.
