As In-Season Management and Data Products team, we support this vision by ensuring relevant assortment is always available to our customers. We provide products to support our supply team to execute optimal decisions across the lifecycle of the assortment, leading to high availability, ensuring healthy stock levels, and consequently enabling Zalando to serve all customer needs.

To that end, our team is set out to build the next-generation inventory management and buying recommendations system for Zalando's wholesale and partner programs that will serve our 200 colleagues in merchandising and our 1500+ suppliers to make the best possible decisions.

As a Senior Product Manager in the In-Season Management and Data Products team, you will find yourself at the forefront of technology, defining the strategy and roadmap for our products, tech and Data Science teams to drive innovation and achieve our vision.
  • Understanding the business needs of our suppliers and internal users, completing end-to-end analysis to make business recommendations, formulating innovative solutions and finally taking our clients and stakeholders along on a change journey.
  • Contributing to the mid- & long-term product vision while collaborating with engineering and/or data science leadership to ensure that as a team you deliver high quality and high impact products
  • Striving to make the lives of your users and end customers better. Along with UX and engineering and Data Science executing innovative solutions which don't just deliver business impact but also great user experience
  • Getting things done, challenging the status quo and instinctively knowing what the critical success factors are and changing complexity into clarity
  • End to end experience using product management tools and methods to launch features and products with meaningful business impact.
  • Ability to transform complex problems into a long-term vision and inspire the team towards this vision while getting them excited about the future
  • Significant experience in leading the definition and development of decision support and/or recommender tools
  • You can bridge the gap between business and technology and use quantitative and qualitative insights to make sound recommendations.
  • You know how to measure the success of your product and continuously iterate to make your product better.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to express business requirements across cross-functional teams throughout various business units
  • You engage, inspire and lead cross functional teams.
  • Experience in supply chain management, revenue management or forecasting are a plus
