JUNIOR MERCHANDISER EMEA - FTC

Scope

The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for supporting the EMEA merchandise team across boutiques, concessions and outlets. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Supporting EMEA merch team with assigned business goals including sales, inventory, and gross margin targets across EMEA Boutiques, Concessions and Outlets
• Confident in preparing and presenting weekly Outlet trade, clearly communicating actions whilst following up on the execution.
• Carry Out an allocation strategy across B&C and Outlets, proactively based on sales trends and commercial knowledge, improve sales performance through stock rebalancing or reorders.
• Work closely with the Merch Manager on the buy, the markdown strategy and identify opportunities.
• Communicate regularly with Retail Managers to effectively trade and align on commercial initiatives.
• Oversee development and training of Allocator.
• Support the business with ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Undergraduate Qualification desirable
• Advanced Microsoft Office, exceptional level Excel
• A proven track record of merchandise planning across European markets for a minimum of 3 years
• Proven track record of increasing turnover and maximising gross profit
• Process & Data driven, proven analytical skills
• To be proactive in terms of finding opportunities to grow/improve the business and be reactive to changes within the markets
• Experience of working for a luxury retail brand would be beneficial
