Raw Materials Handler

SUMMARY

The position focuses on raw material system movement and handling. This individual is responsible for physically pulling, counting, labeling, and sorting raw materials. This individual is also responsible for maintaining system integrity through accurate Full Circle transactions.

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Accurately pull and record raw materials as needed for outgoing releases or pull sheets
• Ensures receiving shipments are double-checked and errors are prevented
• Physically pack and prepare raw materials for shipment or pick up
• Create detailed records, document pick-ups, and archive signed packing slips
• Mark internal inventory codes on raw materials following established procedure and using proper labeling equipment
• Document any damages upon receipt of shipments or as detected while handling raw materials
• Report overage, shortage, and damages according to established procedures
• Participate in physical inventories as needed following all established procedures to ensure organization and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep work area is free of safety hazards

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Minimum 4 years’ experience working with raw materials, 
• PC literate and familiar and comfortable working in Full Circle / Microsoft Excel
• Able to work and think independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, flexible in changing direction as needed
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proficient in Full Circle, specifically Domestic Production, F/G Purchasing, R/M Inventory, and R/M Purchasing
• Candidate must be highly organized with ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency
• Candidate must be a team player, willing and able to work-cross functionally with multiple departments
• Self-starter with an understanding of the Design through Production process
