The Primary Purpose:
The Assistant Buyer will support with the execution of local product investment, helping to drive in-season performance against sales and margin targets for the Retail and Wholesale channels across the region. Reports to Buying Manager.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Buying to....

- Work with the Men's Outlet Buying Manager and Men's Outlet Buyer to support the investment of OTB 'dollars' for Men's, determining SKU depth, in order to meet financial targets for the Outlet channel
- Support driving the performance against sales and margin targets; maximize in-season opportunities and affect future inventory
- Assist with the completion of monthly updates for Store distribution information, Door Profile indicators and SKU updates and investments
- Participate in door profiling, including optimal store content and network distribution by category and gender
- Support with the analysis of product performance, customer feedback, consumer trends, competitive landscape and local market knowledge to global merchandising/design
- Support with Buyer / Buying Manager with Outlet animation initiatives focused on investments and market specificities (peak trading periods, holidays, store openings) through training, retail support, VM, product flow, customer outreach;
· Alongside the Buyer/Buying Manager, partner with BU marketing to support effective marketing plan aligned with investment
· Increase knowledge of product, consumer and competition in local market
· Support the Allocator by reviewing allocation plans and store/sku inventory levels to ensure objectives are met - partnering weekly updates to drive store allocations
- Updating Assortment visuals for Outlet team use;
· Work alongside Buying Manger and Buyer to propose, action and submit pricing decisions to include promotions and to deliver accurately and within agreed timelines alongside other cross functions
· Maintain tracking logs and approvals for auditing purposes - relating to any price changes to be active on the system
· Maintain accurate pricing master files for outlet
· Assist Buying Manager / Buyer with monthly floor set pricing by collating sku detail and reviewing against the pricing architecture within the department

· Previous experience of buying merchandise / planning experience in fashion/luxury retail
· Numerate with strong analytical skills and financial acumen
· Experience overseeing and guiding product allocation
· Advanced computer skills in Excel and retail planning systems
· Knowledge of the fashion or accessories luxury goods market
· Experience of working with a global company/brand
· Experience supporting the European market
