Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the team:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team main objectives are to:

Give visibility on financial information (Actual and Budget/Forecast) to the leadership team and to operational departments through the P&L / Balance Sheet, specific KPI’s, ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions and action plans.

Coordinate Budget and Forecast processes and challenge operational departments to achieve their targets when relevant.

Be a key business partner to the other departments, participate to cross-functional projects as financial representative.

Overview:

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team reporting directly to the FP&A Director and collaborating with the full team across the missions.

Your Mission

• Increase visibility on actuals to the leadership team and other departments
• Drive actual reviews / discussions with assigned departments challenging them on their performance when appropriate
• Actively participate to identify any risk & opportunity vs objective
• Identify and drive process’ improvements as well as cost savings’ projects
• Manage budget / forecast / landing processes on his assigned departments and support the consolidation view.
• Participate to cross-functional projects
• Develop, prepare ad hoc analysis based on the business needs and challenges

• You have an experience within a fast-paced consumer-focused retail environment
• You are a self-starter who brings passion, resilience, enthusiasm & focus to your work with high standard of accuracy
• You know how to balance priorities, identifying quick wins and the right thing to do
• You have exceptional relationship building and strong communication skills, managing various levels of the organization with teams based abroad
• You deal with confidential information with tact and diplomacy

Systems and Essentials

• Part-qualified / qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
• English mandatory, Italian / French is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
• Any multi-dimensional systems, SAP / BOARD user is a plus
• Previous retail experience within a big Group
