JOB PURPOSE

To be part of Internal manufacturing Engineering & Quality team engaged in delivering the highest standard of product to our customers, to protect product standards and strive for continuous improvements in methods/ways of working directed at adding maximum value with minimum cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To perform and support the management of QA operations across both shifts - AQL final good process & compliance role.
  • To support & train the QC & QA team ensuring core competencies are developed across the group
  • To ensure appropriate Quality standards are set and maintained in all inspection operations in order to target a "right first time" quality goal.
  • To effectively manage and support in developing the team performance, maintaining a high standard of communication.
  • Ensure all Materials are inspected on a weekly basis and departmental reports are updated
  • Liaise with the Technical and Production Department to identify the required standard for each product,
  • To work cooperatively with others, creating and maintaining team spirit/morale within and across the factory to achieve a common goal.
  • To effectively monitor and improve customer service standards.
  • Ensure the company health and safety policy is followed by all operators within the section, and maintain the required levels of housekeeping.
  • To role model the company values and support corporate and factory policy and objectives.
  • To carry out any other departmental duties and initiatives as required.
  • Able to drive and have access to car to support Aftercare project where required


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • University graduate preferably in Textile, Apparel, Design, Garment Technology
  • Professional working experience
  • Very good IT and Microsoft office tools knowledge and working experience.
  • Preferably Previous quality experience & Apparel Technical Knowledge
  • Highly Motivated with leadership skills
  • Team management & delegation skills
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Friendly approachable nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive approach to tasks
