Senior Software Engineer, Platform team - m/f/d

Join our talented Engineering team to work in one of our Platform streams:

• The Platform as as Service stream delivers reliable, ultra performant and scalable infrastructures and services
• The Enterprise stream focuses on the core services shared across the entire platform (product catalog, users management, orders management, etc.)
• The Engineering Efficiency stream secures the delivery and the executions with tailored solutions (observability, security, CI/CD, etc.)

What you'll be doing

• Working on our tech stack to design, develop and debug Vestiaire's platform.
• Actively contributing to continue building the micro-service architecture.
• Writing clean, concise and sustainable code and unit tests
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Who you are

• At least 4 years of experience as a software developer.
• Extensive experience in software design, data structures.
• Follow agile development methods and thrive in an international team environment.
• Pragmatic and proactive mindset with strong focus on TDD and Unit testing.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Your Technical Experience:

• A strong understanding of MySQL, including complex queries and optimization.
• Development of web applications with a modern technology stack (PHP, Golang).
• Experience in TDD, DDD.
• Firm understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS and Clean Code.
• Experience with NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience with queue technologies is a plus
• KAFKA experience is a huge plus.
