The business supplies luxury retailers throughout the world with upcoming and established fashion brands such as Ienki Ienki, Ancient Greek Sandals and Jonathan Simkhai to name but a few.

Rainbowwave is now looking for an Accounts Administrator to support the Finance Team in the preparation of the accounts with focus on commission collection, and treasury management.  The ideal candidate will be the main point of contact on the day to day accounting with the Sales Teams and have the opportunity to cover for the Trainee Accountant with our PR and Retail divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise approved invoices and chase for payment.  Report AR KPIs
  • Responsible for cash and bank administration including processing daily cash receipts and payments
  • Responsible for PI and SI document management, both physical log, and digital storage on finance drive
  • Responsible for controlling personals/ clothing allowance across company.
  • Process staff expenses and control payments and process for clothing allowance

In addition, to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.

The Candidate:

  • Professional qualification (studying towards) and / or graduate level with analytical skills
  • Ideally one to two years’ experience working within an international fashion business would be advantageous
  • Experience with Microsoft windows essential.  Rainbowwave use Sage for accounting so would be advantageous
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and a committed self starter with a “can do” attitude
  • Has to the ability to follow through with any issues ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve getting the appropriate support where necessary
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Able to communicate with colleagues and external people, at all levels of seniority, both financial and non-financial, in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, team player who is able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Be able to travel from time to time
