This position is responsible for providing the strategic creative direction and design delivery for both communication and (digital) products within the APAC region. The individual will directly contribute to bringing the brand to life in ever more inspiring, innovative and culturally relevant ways.

You will work across all local content from concept through to delivery. The role will act as a key partner to Marketing and the Digital Commerce team in the region.


  • Inspire, Influence & create value in the region trough creative ideas, with t he ambition to make the most creative, inspiring and culturally relevant work in the industry
  • Direct & Manage a team of 8 designers in the region

Campaigns and Social Creative:
  • Making sure all Marketing briefs are answered with innovative thinking and exceptional design solutions is an absolute must for this role, and so a strong knowledge of the full ecosystem of our key local platforms: WeChat, LINE, Kakao, with keen interest for what's next, is imperative to its success.
  • Asian platforms, especially in China, are environments that evolve at unimaginable speeds. The challenge is to understand, leverage, and stay on top of trends, technologies, user preferences, and new usage paradigms in order to deliver unmatched experiences that merge innovation, brand exploration and product storytelling. The main focus is on social, and within that the key platform is we chat.

Digital Platforms (Design & UX):
  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Technology teams to Create and deliver a best in class site experience and social commerce, an experience that balances a consistent brand messaging with a best in class local digital experience.

Digital Third Parties (Design & UX):
  • Understand and leverage local third party platforms to deliver an elevated and consistent brand & commerce experience, with the potential of reaching a new set of audiences and to widen our channels of communication and commerce.

  • The ability to lead, guide and motivate teams, a mix of:
    • the Creative Media in-house team - currently a team of 8, working across the APAC region on campaigns & social, product design and 3rd parties
    • Content collaborators and Freelancers
    • External agencies, making sure that we are building a robust pipeline of talent
  • Strong strategic thinking that connects the dots between business and how creative and design can make an impact
  • The ability to lead projects end to end, from the conceptual ideation and creative development, to digital design and delivery
  • A confident creative point of view
  • A collaborative style of working
  • A good cultural understanding of both British and Asian culture, preferably having lived in both for a solid period of time
  • Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English. Speaking more than one language in the region would be a plus
