Sanne Press Officer

The Sanne Press Officer works closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Creative Director to execute the PR strategy in line with the company goals. The Press Officer will also be responsible for product pitching in line with the PR strategy and for all sample requests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively nurture relationships with members of press & VIP stylists
  • Develop and implement seasonal PR strategies looking at complete, focused and results-driven press campaigns
  • Contributing to Sanne’s brand growth by building and developing unique storytelling for the brand and their products that will result in editorial coverage in both print and digital media
  • Cultivate and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with global press and influencers
  • Daily proactive pitching to editors for a variety of coverage placements on client accounts as well as handling reactive media enquiries
  • Creating and distributing regular newsletters about new launches, trends, or relevant brand news
  • Overseeing showroom collections and monitoring sample send outs and returns
  • Managing and implementing events including catwalk shows, presentations, launch parties, brand dinners etc. working on logistics, guestlists and seating plans 
  • Leading projects such as press days, gifting exercises, launch events, editor appointments etc.
  • Assisting company directors on marketing activations and sponsorship projects
  • Support product launches; e.g. gifting and seeding strategies
  • Responsible for updating international contact database
  • Sharing press coverage internally
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager in compiling reports for the board
  • Support team in preparing for the bi-annual fashion show
  • Support team in preparing for, and act as host at, seasonal press days / press appointments
  • Support wider comms team in preparing for any projects such as photo shoots, store installations, sample sales, etc
  • Ambassador for the brand 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in agency or in-house press office 
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint,
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with excellent work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to accomplish tasks accurately, thoroughly, and with attention to detail
