The Talent Development Partner will serve as a primary HR business partner for our West Coast Full-Price and Outlet store associates and their Leadership teams. We rely on you to keep a "pulse" on our employee population, the culture and dynamics in the departments, and to develop strong talent solutions that drive the growth of our business.


  • Provide day-to-day partnership and counsel on all HR disciplines: talent development & coaching, recruitment, organizational design, employee relations, learning & development and compensation.
  • Travel to stores throughout the region to keep a pulse on the organizations and proactively identify area of opportunities in leadership, policies, training or talent strategy.
  • Leverage our Talent Centers of Excellence teams to support client groups and execute HR programs.
  • Support and communicate policies and procedures.
  • Support initiatives that help to maintain an open and positive work environment. Encourage and drive consistency in all execution of Talent Policies and Practices.
  • Implement, maintain and evolve employee programs, policies and procedures.
  • Proactively address employee relations efforts and conduct balanced investigations
  • Manage on and off boarding process (partner with managers on processing the information via workday)
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in the areas of talent development at both the associate and leadership levels to strengthen skillset across teams
  • Facilitate talent management processes (year-end, mid-year, goals cascades, talent calibrations, culture survey, comp reviews, etc.) and coach client groups on how to evaluate, motivate and effectively lead talent
  • Support delivery of talent development initiatives (i.e. DiSC assessment)
  • Provide HR support in organizational change initiatives. Partner with the business to develop and maintain a strategic, creative, and fluid org design and talent roadmap.
  • Support VP Talent on ad hoc projects as required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR supporting Retail Teams.
  • Well-rounded in the areas of talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening)
  • Commercial judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to make timely decisions
  • Ability to influence
  • Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues

  • A bachelor's degree or requisite experience

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office/Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
