About the role

Gap Inc.'s Retail Academy offers on-boarding, functional and professional development programs to build employee skills and capabilities across the enterprise. The Project Manager of HQ Talent Management, Retail Academy will partner with the leadership team in upholding best-in-industry training offerings through effective planning and execution of curriculum, planful event coordination and project management of GapTech Youniversity. This role reports into Sr Manger of GapTech Youniversity.

  • Collaborate across the Hyderabad India and North America teams to provide seamless training experiences to global employees
  • Establish and develop partnerships with key business partners and stakeholders in L&D, HR, GapTech, Corp Ops/Facilities, Corp Events, at all levels
  • Supports the Retail Academy enterprise learning strategy as needed
  • Lead program operations by communicating with and engage with learners, managing certification and conference processes, drafting and executing communications and announcements, troubleshooting and responding to incoming queries, recognizing learners when milestones are met and managing our content portal
  • Record and analyze learning data, including monitoring learning portal use, tracking learning event attendees, using the Learning Management System (LMS) and recapping learner data for our quarterly reporting to leadership
  • Manage logistics of programs by executing calendar, requesting AV resources as needed for learning experiences, tracking enrollment and nominations for courses, and managing quizzes and surveys to measure learning and learner experience
  • Assist with planning and execution of Retail Academy training including multi-day events such as our Hackathon
  • Partnering with Retail Academy, learning & software vendors and GapTech business partners to ensure learner needs met
  • Execute and input expenses incurred


Who you are

  • 4+ years project management experience preferred, an interest or background in technology support a plus.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability in analyzing problems or process opportunities and recommending sound, creative, logical solutions.
  • Written, verbal communication skills; ability to articulate point of view
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skill set; Comfortable & confident in dealing with ambiguity & change
  • High professional standards: strong customer service mentality (customer curious); possess a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Technical expertise with MS Office (especially Excel) required, experience with Sharepoint, MailChimp & applications a plus.
  • Role can be remote, however must be able to work a Pacific Time Zone schedule on a daily basis
