Position Overview
To help bring the American dream with a European twist to our consumers, the Director of Digital Merchandising and his/her team will ensure that the Ralph Lauren product presentation on the RL European eCommerce sites is consistent with RL Brand, the overall EU and global RLD Merchandise Strategy. This key and strategic role will be instrumental in establishing a unique, seamless customer journey and experience across all the RLE-EU sites, whatever platform the consumer is navigating through and in so doing, will focus on optimizing the Path to Purchase, increasing the Click-through-rate, maximizing Conversion Rates and UPT. Digital Trading Assistant executes the trade plan within a specific brand/product area which is the interface between Digital Buying, Digital Marketing and RLD Business Partner to make sure brand-, product and commerce needs are fulfilled to the best in its class. They will utilize analytical data to drive performance across all websites to enable the business to grow further driving conversion and executing the trading plan. The Digital Trading Team will showcase the most compelling and aspirational assortment in the most efficient, user-friendly and high-quality environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
* Optimize online user experience including navigation, shopping journey and onsite search
* Merchandise the grids to ensure RLE is represented as a premium window of the brand with a consumer lens
* Execute the seasonal merchandising plan
* Prep site for sale, new season, and marketing campaigns
* Assist in product enrichment
* Assist in development and execution of category plan
* Provide feedback to divisional associate and manager Key Stakeholders
* Divisional associate
* Divisional manager Cross Team Contacts
* Data flow lead
* Ecommerce strategy
* Translation coordinator Major Time Allocations
* 50% execution in Salesforce Business Manager
* 20% cross-functional planning meeting
* 10% coordination with data flow team
* 10% partnership with buying
* 5% training and development (learning and teaching)
* 5% feedback to leadership KPIs and Analytics
* Time to market - how long does it take to execute key tasks?
* Quality of work - how much time is spent in remediation? How many customer-facing challenges are live without a solution? Funnel performance -are the grids merchandised to encourage step through?

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Intermediate skills in Excel
• Some knowledge on analytics a plus
• Analytical and confident to take action.
• Strong preference for candidates with some understanding of best practices in user experience and drivers of conversion
• Thinks creatively.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Comprehensive brand and market/competitive knowledge across Europe
• Knowledge in SAP hybris a plus
• Effective written and oral communications skills, with particular sensitivity to global communication needs.
