JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Supervisor-Waving role is responsible for planning, running and closing "waves", which provide systemic direction of product movement within the Distribution Center. This role prepares and maintains reports for DC management and handles special projects and data collection for DC operations.

This role prepares and maintains reports for DC management and handles special projects and data collection for DC operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan, run and close "waves" within the Distribution Center
- Ensure data integrity between WM and 3rd party systems during wave closing
- Learn all wave planning and research screens and tools
- Prepare daily reports for DC operations to show the state of product within areas
- Communicate and coordinate with Customer Service, Allocation and other cross-functional teams on a daily basis
- Summarize wave activity by channel - retail vs. wholesale
- Provide data for Planning, IC and Operations when needed
- Manage case picking labels and distribution
- Provide reprints and operator research support
- Maintain databases and filings regarding waves, shrink and/or other requested information
- Participate in special projects as they may relate to waving or product flow through the buildings
- Assist with data input (Production numbers, etc.) in other areas
