JOB SUMMARY

The Global Account Services and Operations (GASO) Manager will play a key role in the further development of S&OE (Sales and Operations Execution). Recent DC consolidations laid the foundation for improved inventory optimization through shared - and immediately transferable - inventory. Optimized shared inventory requires effective and efficient contract management in SAP. Proper contract management ensures that the allocation logic produces results that align with the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) intent.

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position will focus on strict inventory management at the tactical level and provide reporting and visibility to:

FOCUS AREA #1 - Inventory Shifts
  • Regular review of inventory shifts is required to ensure that modifications/additions to sales orders do not inadvertently impact inventory for other Business Units in unanticipated and/or negative ways. This position will collaborate with IT to develop variance reporting, monitor monthly on hand inventory, and maintain Available to Promise lists. The right candidate would also look for ways to prevent future recurrence via technology, process, or a combination thereof.


FOCUS AREA #2 - Supply / Demand Match
  • Create the supplyy - -demand match reporting that predicts accounts that have shortages, work with BUs to resolve or ask for extensions.


FOCUS AREA #3 - Inventory Sharing Requests
  • Proactively work with BUs on weekly inventory sharing, preparing reports that show available inventory by contract to facilitate faster response time from BUs on sharing requests- Monitor the weekly replenishments styles to ensure inventory is not running low, causing customer cancelations and/or delays in shipping.


FOCUS AREA #4 - Oversolds /Shortages
  • Review oversolds/shortages in inventory and resolve. Involve business partners as required.


FOCUS AREA #5 - Excess Inventory
  • Monitor excess inventory; work with business partners to reduce and identify causes/original owners of the excess as well as their solution with how to assign ownership.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES NOT COVERED IN FOCUS AREAS
  • Manage day-to-day activities of two supervisors with three account representatives each. Ensure tactical activities are performed according to standard operating procedures.
  • SAP S/4HANA: The will play a pivotal role in the deployment of SAP S/4HANA. The position will represent GASO on taskforce and become the subject matter expert.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
