Senior Film Editor

INTRODUCTION

The In-house Film Post Production team at Burberry are responsible for the creation of elevated, creative and informative films that live across Burberry's many creative departments.

JOB PURPOSE

As Senior Editor you will be responsible for the creation of world class fashion videos - defining and developing our voice across all platforms. You will be working on a range of creative edits varying from Campaigns, Runway Shows, TVCs, Social edits and internal films.

You will join our fast-paced Post Production team. A team dedicated to creating videos of sensational quality and novel creativity - at a huge scale.

We are looking for a passionate video editor pro who is a great team player. As a team we bring innovation and collaboration to everything we do and are looking for a key Senior Editor to elevate our service even further. The position involves managing of in-house junior editors guiding their talent and supporting their development.

The role reports into the Film Post-production Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To collaborate with the Producers, Editors or Creative Directors to effectively deliver their vision, contributing along the way.
• Exceptional multitasking ability with the ability to manage multiple edits, have outstanding organisational skills; able to use initiative and to work in pressurised environment during peak times
• Work alongside an exciting team of editors, VFX, motion graphics, CG artists, Colourists and Post Producers to deliver exciting creative edits.
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail and catching errors
• To line manage two direct reports, to lead by example and be recognised as a senior creative in the department
• Show excellent problem-solving abilities and positive, dynamic response to change
• Supporting the team in following established processes to deliver agreed creative and quality standards in line with departmental strategy
• Quality control the asset and version it to appropriate delivery specs
