PRODUCTION MANAGER

The mission of this role is to manage the seasonal development and production cycles, including RTW, shoes and accessories, from design through production. Under the guidance of the Creative Directors, the Production Manager ensures that the process from design to production of samples meets all deadlines and achieves all quality control, commercial and aesthetic objectives and remains within budget constraints.

KEY TASKS INCLUDE

• Manage the full production cycle after sales until itÊs ready to ship.

• Work directly with the Studio Director, Creative Directors, Operations and design team

  throughout the design and development phases of the collection.

• Proactively serve as a safety rail to ensure that budgets and commercial collection

  requirements are respected.

• Manage and complete the multi-seasonal design development critical path timing, based on

  the seasonal shows and showrooms.

• Sourcing and buying of fabrics and trims, finding suppliers and manufacturers.

• Liaise and schedule with accessory, jewellery, knitwear, eyewear and shoe designers and

  developers to ensure the collection schedule align cross-product departments.

• Create tech packs, and ensure deadlines are met with manufacturers and suppliers during

  both production and development.

  CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 yearsÊ experience in a production management role with a luxury fashion brand.

• Broad technical knowledge of garment making and finishing.

• Outstanding organisational and planning skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively across departments.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Confident to question and challenge information and suppliers, and actively seek improvement

  and cost-saving opportunities.

• Works calmly under pressure.

• Strong Excel knowledge.

• Previous experience using Zedonk is a plus, (training is given).

• Professional in English.

• A keen interest is sustainability.
