Merchandising and Production Assistant

Job Purpose

This role will support the Merchandising and Production teams of a fast-paced fashion retail business to ensure the seamless flow of products from the initial order stage through to delivery into the Business.

Main responsibilities

•Supplier management - weekly communication and critical path management

•Placing initial orders with Supplier and managing communications thereafter

•Management of Tech packs/prints/shapes

•Cost price management with Suppliers – liaising with Merchandising team

•Product set up – liaising with Merchandising teams  

•Management of product information – HS/MIDs/Comps

•Supplier handbook management - ways of working

•Competition shops

•Salary per annum - £25k-£30k

Skills and Qualifications

•Excellent knowledge and experience of MS Excel, including the ability to analyze data.

•Outstanding analytical skills, agile and hands-on, high attention to detail, committed to making an impact.

•Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.

•Passionate towards the Retail sector.

•A proactive problem solver.

•Strong attention to detail, taking a proactive approach towards work.
