JOB PURPOSE
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract for an experienced IT Business Analyst (BA) to work on our portfolio of Finance Projects, delivering for the Finance and Procurement functions.
The Business Analyst will collect, analyse and prioritise functional; focusing on meeting the goals and objectives of the business. The BA will primarily collaborate with designated business functions, Project Manager and Solution Architects.
The role is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, with a great team and an outstanding brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the collection and prioritisation of project specific business requirements and ensure they are relayed to the architecture team to develop cost estimates.
- Highlight/identify changes to current ways of working.
- Collaborate with business and project team throughout the solution build to ensure alignment with defined business requirements.
- Run workshops, gather business requirements and define processes.
- Follow defined Waterfall or Agile methodology and deliverables.
- Communicate and align with Business Analysts in other towers.
- Facilitate the acceptance of functional requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Adhere to project timelines as defined by the Project Manager.
PERSONAL PROFILE
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Proven ability to build relationships and partner with management stakeholders within the business and IT.
- Can clearly demonstrate delivering artefacts for each project phase and link the business value created with the process and system improvement (preferably supported by industry certification).
- Effective use of business modelling techniques: Process and workflow modelling (BPMN experience, preferred).
- Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements resulting in quality deliverables, with limited direction.
- Basic understanding of data and information architecture principles.
- Basic understanding of user experience design principles.
EXPERIENCE
- Delivery of at least 3 full project lifecycles in a Business Analyst role.
- Delivery of both Waterfall and Agile projects.
- Practical application of Design Thinking/User Centred Design methodologies.
- Previous experience of IT delivery of Finance projects
