JOB PURPOSE

  • Responsible for the design and operations of global HR integrations with third party providers including payroll.
  • Working with our service partner to build or enhance integrations across our HR and Payroll landscape.
  • Combining aspects of integration and technical architect skills to model the systems involved.
  • Leading the design to define integration approach and patterns, and ensuring alignment to our design principles.
  • Managing changes through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, delivery partners and third party vendors to meet the delivery timelines whilst ensuring quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Best in Class - drive our partners and support teams to provide the best in class delivery for our teams across the globe.
  • Design - responsible and accountable for integrations to internal and third-party solutions; liaising with business and third-party stakeholders to understand detailed requirements. Facilitate mappings between the business and delivery teams to ensure quality functional and technical designs from the outset.
  • Delivery - responsible for ensuring that the service partner provides on time and accurate delivery. Working closely with partners to oversee the build, highlighting risks or issues to IT management where necessary. This includes ensuring changes to the design go through the appropriate change control process.
  • Testing - collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integrations are fully tested across the stages: unit, system integration, regression and user acceptance testing. This includes leading the business to define scenarios including positive and negative testing.
  • Architecture Alignment - Responsible for ensuring delivery aligns with Burberry's architectural principles. Supporting the architectural teams and providing feedback on the integration patterns with a HR view where appropriate. Responsible and accountable for ensuring the integration catalogues are up to date.
  • CD/CI Pipeline - Responsible for building a continuous development/ improvements pipeline. Working with the business to prioritise demand and looking at improvements across Process, People and Technology.
  • 3rd Party/Vendor Management - During the design and implementation of new requests and throughout the lifecycle, you will take responsibility for analyzing and co-ordinating relationships with Key Stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Business Strategy & Stakeholder Management - work alongside the leadership team of the Tower to develop and drive the HR Tower strategy. Provide expert knowledge to flag where future product enhancements might influence the roadmap. Responsible and accountable for integrations delivered by the Tower to your Business Stakeholders.
  • Service Management - Working with the Service Manager to support the management activities to ensure that work being developed meets all operational requirements before getting introduced into the production environment.


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • You must have HR functional knowledge and experience with HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors and/or SAP CPI. You will need to have analytical skills and methodical approach to systems changes.
  • You will be pro-active with energy and drive for continuous improvement and have a focus on delivering results. You will be expected to be an excellent communicator with the ability to relate technical issues in simplistic and meaningful way to colleagues and third-parties.
  • You should have experience implementing integration architectures and designing integration solutions across HR & Payroll functions. You will be expected to show knowledge of interface design and integration patterns.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and third-party suppliers working in an Agile and Waterfall environment is essential.

Note : Out of hours / on-call rota support may be required along with onsite support during key events.
