Design Intern

DION LEE is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated intern to join their New York Design team.

Working closely with the Design team in the Tribeca Studio, this internship will offer a hands on and intimate experience of the design and development process. 

Main responsibilities: 


• Assist in Fabric and Trims sourcing, development and organization 
• Assist in Tech Pack preparation and Material collation to send to offshore and local factories
• Assist in Research and any Print or Embellishment Development
• Sample room tasks including sample cutting and pattern trace offs
• Execute flat/CAD sketches
• Any ad-hoc design and development tasks

Ideal Candidate has: 

• Strong multi-tasking skills, organizational and time management skills 
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabrics 
• High attention to detail 
• Proficient skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative work environment 
• A willingness to learn and positive attitude
