The Corporate Real Estate Development Team is looking for a highly motivated individual to join us. The Construction Office Team proudly delivers new or freshly reworked Zalando working environments for the good of all employees. Organization and coordination are key to provide exactly what our customers need. Being exactly on budget and time or early is what we challenge ourselves daily. And we do bistros, kitas, sport areas, hubs, event locations and photo studios just as well. We will need you to be responsible for supporting office construction projects and other strategic projects to set us up for the future of work. As Project Manager Construction Office you are supporting high impact projects or leading medium sized projects end-to-end whilst bringing together cross-functional teams, interacting with our internal customers, important stakeholders within the company, with external planning partners and our landlords.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Manage selected non logistic construction projects of strategic importance through implementation of our Zalando building standard, of innovative interiors and handover the project in time, budget and exceptional quality and always with a strong sense of ownership
- Know and use common project management tools and techniques to provide your results (including scope & change management, project plan, budget control, stakeholder management, contract-/ supplier management ) and provide decision templates and reports
- Accompany the entire planning and development process, primarily of our building projects as well as the supervision on site and the whole communication which is needed for an successful project end
- Collaborate closely with all experts of the team and networks with internal and external stakeholders or customers and be used to the exchange with external contractors, landlords and local authorities
- 3-5 years working experience in a similar role and professional experience of minimum 1-2 projects of medium/high complexity and a university degree in engineering or similar education
- Ability to work in an analytical, focused way with an eye for innovations, details and design although in hectic, time-critical project phases
- Based in Berlin and open for frequent travels throughout the world
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, strong communication skills to enable collaboration, problem solving and decision-making is a must
- well-developed technical vocabulary in German & English are a must, a Project Management certification (e.g. GPM/IPMA, PMI, Prince2) is a plus
