As the Planner, North America, reporting to the Director of Planning, you will be responsible for managing the financial plans for all departments and key account, while maintaining receipts and budgets. working closely with the North America and global sales team, you will analyze account profitability, while making suggestions for each account.

Some of What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Financial Planning for all Department stores and key accounts.  
  • Develop Wholesale strategy in partnership with Sales and Planning Team with expectation to manage in season and react accordingly 
  • Responsible for maintaining existing six-month flow by account by gender with a focus on receipt flow.
  • Responsible for maintaining monthly shipping recaps and comparing them to internal budgets
  • Work with Sales Team to manage receipts, product pull ups and push outs, analyze account profitability and make suggestions to Sales/Director of Planning
  • Obtain and enter weekly sales and stock data as well as monthly sales and stock by door, reporting findings to upper management during peak selling times to identify best sellers by style and report on category performance
  • Responsible for making sales and receipt recommendations to increase account/store performance based on sales to stock ratios by account especially during market time.
  • Produce ad hoc reports on an as needed basis using both Financial data and unit selling data to analyze the business

Some of What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role; as a Planner, Associate Planner or Assistant Planner 
  • Experience in compiling “Go to Market” decks 
  • Robust foundation of Retail or Wholesale planning with the ability to cater this understanding to the specific needs of the organization
  • Existing relationships with luxury retail market an asset
