JOB PURPOSE
You will be working with our outsourced payroll provider and liaising with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for processing data for a number of international payroll operations including; France, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. You will review international payroll reports to ensure these are properly approved, processed and comply with agreed standards. You will be operating within controls, standards, and practices to ensure that all payroll activity across the Group is entirely compliant and of the highest quality. You will help provide an excellent service to all internal customers with a specific emphasis on employees.
You will effectively and collaboratively work with a team of administrators and advisors lead by the Northern Europe Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Efficiency
- Support day to day running of the Northern Europe payrolls, ensuring payroll schedules and deadlines are met
- Collate and input large volumes of data into excel and Time&Attendance system
- Support resolving queries from employees and third parties adhering to SLA with a customer-oriented mindset
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as and when required
- Support processing employee and third party payments
- Ensure process documents and procedures are maintained and updated regularly
Process Improvements
- Suggest and actively take part in process improvements
- Share best practices within the team
- Work closely with the Payroll team members and process owners to understand root causes
Governance and Controls
- Responsible to execute payroll processes in line with the internal controls, policy, standards and guidelines
- Responsible for day to day maintenance of control documentation for administrative payroll tasks
PERSONAL PROFILE
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in multicurrency payroll, preferably French country payroll experience
- Shared services experience - preferable but not essential
- Understanding of payroll end to end processes
- Experience working with third-party vendors and various payroll systems - preferable but not essential
Skills
- Ideally fluent in English plus French or German
- Attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Ability to escalate issues and seek advice when faced with complex problems
