Job Details

Galvan London is searching for an enthusiastic, self-motivated PR intern to join the New York team this fall 2021 semester. The Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, be extremely efficient and able to prioritize tasks. Strong communication and written skills are a necessity, as well as adaptability, an interest in luxury fashion, and a positive attitude.

Main responsibilities:

  • Book out and pack samples to be sent to publications, VIP’s, and stylists via UPS, FedEx, and messenger service to ensure timely arrival
  • Manage master sample tracker and editorial weekly calendar to chase for any overdue returns and ensure the return of all samples
  • Responsible for the upkeep and organization of the New York sample closet
  • Assist with post-event presentations
  • Merchandise current collection in showroom and gain sales insight on RTW and Bridal collection
  • Provide administrative support throughout the studio including support to the PR & Marketing departments

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented & highly organized
  • Passionate about the luxury fashion industry with a ready-to-learn attitude
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Drive
  • Available 4-5 days a week
  • School credit required
  • Must be able to commute to NYC studio
