As a Team Lead Sales, you will support the Head of Sales in defining the strategic direction of the team. You build and support your own team to deliver growth and commercial success. You can create acquisition strategies, collect, develop and implement pitches, content and negotiation tactics across the team to make sure that every team member is fully equipped to fulfil their targets. You are involved in negotiation with partners/markets with highest complexity/impact. You identify and hunt new partners/opportunities. You lead strategic conversations internally and externally with more senior stakeholders in the organization. You create plans and goals for the Sales team and ensure that it is clearly communicated to all team members. You are responsible for defining targets on a team and individual level, providing coaching and mentoring to facilitate career development for all team members. Your target is based on your team achievements.

The role is located in Berlin, Germany.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Develop strategic partnerships. You will craft, develop and drive our sales partnership strategy in collaboration with your piers. Leading and owning the engagement strategy to connect with sales partners, you will identify and craft win-win deals with big players
  • Hire and lead the best. Develop and support your own team by defining and prioritizing tasks, KPIs and goals, improving cross-team collaboration, evaluating and developing skills and growth potential as you identify and hire promising talent
  • Build alliances. You will be the ideal role model securing commitment to the strategies and targets you develop. You will also promote a collaborative spirit with the pier sales teams as you work closely with our Sales Leads.
  • Own your success. You will work closely with stakeholders who will challenge and support you to achieve the required impact. You have a great deal of freedom in choosing strategies to achieve your goals and, if necessary, adjust your course as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This is a strategic deal-making and scaling role, pivotal to achieving our scalable growth ambitions:
  • Minimum 5 + years sales management and/or business development experience at a top tier ecommerce, software company, startup or a similar organization. You have strong business and technical acumen and an ability to find shared wins with a proven record of accelerating sales through alliances and partnerships. Experience in SaaS and / or the lifestyle industry (eg fashion, sportswear, beauty) would be a plus
  • Speed, agility and leadership resilience characterize you: Being a highly organized commercial leader you have the endurance to deliver multiple business cases and a project roadmap within set deadlines. Your superior knowledge of business transactions (such as B2B + B2C commercial agreements) and your PMO skills (leading and developing teams and operating on several work streams simultaneously) are unrivaled. Our team is important to us, so not only are you a strong self-starter with the ability to work independently, you should also be a good team player.
  • Developing engagement strategies to connect with external senior leaders comes naturally to you. You have a strong network within the European fashion ecosystem and you can nurture and leverage these relationships to accelerate our growth
  • An agile mind, strong communication and influencing skills are self-evident for you. Solid experience of developing strategic relationships and managing internal and external stakeholders, whilst working within cross functional teams, maintaining engagement and ensuring commercial momentum. English required, German a plus.
