Position Overview
The Manager, Communications oversees all of the day-to-day areas of operations to provide the best customer and employee experience in stores. The role is responsible for driving results through partnerships with the Field Leadership Team to ensure operational procedures are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands-on communications professional with strong intuition, creative ideas and a proven ability to work with senior leaders and partner across organizations and connectivity to our retail employee population. This role manages multiple budgets, defines priorities and drives operational improvements and efficiencies by identifying opportunities and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Support regular updates to organization
* Administers the day-to-day operations of the Retail Operations team and traffics projects between the partners and the creative team (includes coordination with international partners)
* Assess business risks and make strategic and timely decisions that positively impact the business and align with divisional and company goals
* Lead, Define, Manage and Execute Communications, Change Management and process improvement
* Support Stores Organization by minimizing operational challenges
* Effective communicator and a strong collaborator.
* Ability to actively engage with and have a finger on the pulse of the business, turning their findings into content that can be used across a wide variety of channels
* Must be able to tell the story of our business and initiatives in a creative and compelling way to further build and strengthen the employee culture.
* Define, Execute and Communicate Operational Priorities
* Deliver optimal productivity in stores through operational excellence, process improvement and consistent resolution of challenges
* Identify opportunities to reduce store management workload, increase operational efficiencies and reduce costs
* Prepare budgets, track costs, forecast additional expenses and identify efficiencies
* Project management; manage tasks for multiple deliverables simultaneously, manage resources, set dates and goals, check progress regularly, maintain project related documents, anticipate obstacles and make the necessary adjustments to ensure on-time delivery in spite of unanticipated problems, work with various teams to find long term solutions, create and provide status reports
* oviding the highest level of customer service to the field and home office, communicating with multiple levels within the organization
* Support project implementation and other KPI initiatives through facilitation, project management documentation and follow up

• Manage other projects as assigned to enable Retail Operations overall functionality

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Experience in Project Management, Retail/Store Operations and/or Communication
* Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution and follow up skills
* Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal, facilitation) and the ability to interact with all levels of management
* Proven ability to effectively write and edit various types of communications
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Able to work fast and make decisions on the fly and gather resources for any type of project
* Strong analytical, conceptual and technical skills; ability to understand systems and reporting
* Ability to navigate several different systems and varying levels of technology
* Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully
* Must have a strong sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work independently and make effective well thought out recommendations
* Identify opportunities within the business that could be improved through communications -bring both creative and practical ideas to the table
* Regularly measure the effectiveness of the team's communication channels to ensure we're maximizing our resources
* Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, creative and time sensitive when faced with multiple demands and challenging deadlines
* Proven ability to create effective partnerships with both retail field and corporate partners
* Exceptional experience in building credibility across business partners
* Previous Corporate Store Operations Experience
* Previous In- store Retail Work Experience
* Ability to travel
* Ability to manage end-to-end projects
* Must be able to work various hours depending on project scope and needs
* Excellent Excel skills; Strong Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Adobe Suite, In- Design
