JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Project Manager is sat at the heart of the Architecture design studio, supporting the creative team and controlling projects through the design stages. The design studio work across two main areas: Burberry stores and Burberry pop-ups. The PM will work across both these areas with each area requiring different levels of involvement and expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Architecture Studio Responsibilities
- Support the central store design studio with project resourcing and traffic management of projects.
- Ensure incoming briefs are accurate, in scope, detailed and achievable within the deadline/budget.
- Partner with global Construction teams to ensure the project roadmap is clear and resource is being forecast to deliver projects.
- Outsource projects to key partners when required.
- Maintain and manage a project tracker / resource plan.
- Keep stakeholders up-to-date and ensure risks are communicated.
- Connect with teams across VM, Graphic Design, Marketing, Procurement when required.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies.
- Work closely with those peers to ensure that all project disciplines work harmoniously together to produce work of industry-leading quality.
- Challenging yourself and others to think creatively to improve the standard of our work by making recommendations for training and development.
Pop-Up Design Responsibilities
- Be the person in the business who knows what is going on with pop ups from every stage - planning and inception to build and implementation.
- Pro-actively join the dots across every channel to ensure plans are known and projects kept on track.
- Collaborate closely with Strategy, Finance and Marketing teams with the up front planning and road map.
- Support the central pop up design studio with project resourcing and traffic management of projects.
- Provide design studio with design development support.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- The role would suit an experienced, personable, Senior Project/Studio Manager with a background in Luxury Retail Design / Architecture.
- It's a fast paced studio/role so we're looking for someone who has a cool head under pressure.
- The ability to think both reactively and pro-actively.
- Strong understanding of Luxury retail.
- Attention to detail, highly organised, with great communication skills.
- Ability to work with external agencies that can bring specialist edge to key projects [ex: technology partners]
