As a Database Administrator, you'll work on our databases to maintain its performance, security, and resilience.

What you'll be doing

• You will be responsible for DB administration of mySQL servers, Incident Management and Change Management;
• Maintain database proactive monitoring and alerting;
• Perform database engine fine-tuning and updates;
• Assist developers with problematic query optimizations;

Who you are

• You were working as a Database Administrator or similar position for at least 3 years.
• You have good knowledge of:
  • MySQL database engines - MariaDB preferred
  • MySQL HA
  • MySQL Partitioning
  • Mysql backup utilities
  • Overall expertise with Linux
  • Replication configuration and recovery
  • Installation of MySQL
  • Load balancing (HAProxy, ProxySQL)
• It will be an advantage:
  • MySQL/MariaDB certification
  • MongoDB database administration experience (preferred)
  • Experience with DevOps IaC tooling: terraform, ansible
  • Experience with management systems like SeveralNines ClusterControl
  • E-commerce experience
• You have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Kanban/Agile methodology practitioner.
