Job Title: Senior Art Director, Concept
Summary: The Stuart Weitzman team is seeking an outstanding Senior Art Director to join its creative team, reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Creative. The Senior Art Director will be a true creative at heart who can help lead in building a strong, cohesive, powerful brand identity at every touchpoint, from marketing and business needs to brand-building initiatives. They will be able to work quickly in a fast-moving environment with aggressive deadlines and across many platforms with a passion for precision that does not sacrifice quality or brand vision. The ideal candidate must have a distinct point of view to create compelling concepts, as well as be a skilled and open collaborator, creative and original thinker, and most of all, possess a disruptive and digital-first mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Concept key campaigns that will build the brand values and identity globally by considering the nuances in our position across all markets
- Leverage customer data and consumer insights to inform creative approach.
- Incorporate the Stuart Weitzman values and brand DNA to embed storytelling for key product launches
- Conduct ongoing and in-depth image research from past through present, with keen eye for evolving fashion and cultural trends.
- Leverage cultural and market insights to inform concept and ideation
- Participate and collaborate on photo shoots with casting, stylists and photographers
- Have a disruptive and digital first mind set
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Vast knowledge in digital content creation- a must
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field
- Extensive knowledge in culture including Music, Art, fashion and film
- Exceptional concept art direction skills for stills and motion
- Experience working for a retail/fashion brand or ad agency is a plus

- In depth knowledge of new and old/archival fashion campaigns
- A proven instinct for spotting and discovering up-and-coming content creators
- Knowledge of creative digital trends
- Proficient in: Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote Indesign and Acrobat. Video and 3d programs a plus
- A strong and instinctive 'eye', with expert design and typography skills
- Experience with photography direction and styling
- Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction
- Ability to think outside the box and innovate
- Extremely detail oriented, well-organized, strong problem solving skills
- Team player with positive "can-do" attitude

- Ability to take direction from creative director and other brand leaders and provide multiple solutions
