Designer

You will be responsible for overseeing and leading the entire design process, including all important technical decisions and production requirements before final approval by the Creative Director 

- You will be responsible for leading the design development of all product collections, from initial concept through to the finished product

- You and the team will execute product concept briefs from the Creative Director and bring them to life, along with proactively leading concept development in line with the Safiyaa aesthetic 

- You will sign off on all material sourcing and support the material buying process

- Collaborating with both the internal team and freelancers, you will conceive, refine, and execute innovative product developments

- You will ensure the delivery of commercially viable, high quality products/collections that will deliver profit margins in line with sales budgets and market opportunities

- You will be able to make commercial decisions relating to cost and retail pricing 

- You will actively research and evaluate key trends to identify new product opportunities to support the growth and expansion of the business

- You will create and present moodboards of research as required 

- You will be responsible for leading the product development team and supporting the brand creatively, ensuring that the company's creative vision is clearly communicated to and executed by, the team in the products being delivered .

- You will manage development timelines and the associated teams season by season, but also on larger innovative development projects

-  You will work dynamically, thinking out of the box to support the efficiency of the company overall

- You will also design & develop some bespoke VIP private client garments

- You will liaise with our factory when applicable

- You will oversee the process and progress of all new product lines

- You will sign off on the retouch of all lookbook imagery
