This resourceful, collaborative member of the public relations team must have excellent overall writing, research and communications skills with an interest in/knowledge of fashion, culture, lifestyle, women's empowerment, political climate and international business. Must have a good eye for detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under deadlines. Solid editorial judgment a plus. The position will entail researching, developing, writing, editing and proofreading a full range of global communications materials, including talking points, Q&As, web content and more.


  • Develop talking points for executive interviews and personal appearances
  • Coaching, prepping for media appearances and interviews
  • Draft content and stories about the Tory Burch brand
  • Write press releases for global initiatives, including new store openings and product launches
  • Work on global brand communications, including bios and boilerplates, updating existing assets and creating new ones as needed

  • Provide thoroughly researched background materials on issues and goings-on in regions around the world where the brand has a retail presence
  • Connect with/interview team members across the organization to ensure that all communications include information that is accurate and up-to-date
  • Be informed about overall business direction and key global markets to ensure all written materials are timely and relevant

  • Versed in the realms of fashion/culture/lifestyle/women's empowerment (issues of the day)
  • Able to identify relevant designers, artists, cultural events/happenings around the world for research materials

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on a tight deadline
  • Manage projects
  • Track, compile and update company stats, including store openings, global presence, wholesale distribution, international partners

  • Strong editorial judgment and visual sense
  • Ability to forge connections across a matrixed organization to access information relevant to projects
  • Contribute to other internal and corporate events
  • Proficient in Powerpoint/Keynote

  • B.A. in Journalism, Communications or relevant Liberal Arts field
  • Three-to-seven years of experience in journalism, PR or related field
  • Must be able to provide writing samples and take a writing test
