Sales Analyst, Wholesale Marketplace

Primary Purpose:
The Sales Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales data to increase overall sales productivity in order to make better informed decisions. They will take full accountability for: the collating of sales data from key Wholesale & Marketplace channels, the analysis and reporting, and the evaluation of sales performance. They must develop standardized & custom tools and business processes aimed at maximizing operational efficiency.
The rolewill have the following main areas of focus/responsibility:
- Collect, analyze, evaluate and report sell-out data in order to increase sales productivity and inform assortment strategies to ensure sales plans are met
- Identify regional product opportunities through market analysis, partnership with the regional sales teams, providing consolidated feedback and sharing with key stakeholders
- Support Demand Planning in entering an accurate forecast, generate reports for forecast, and collate forecasts into weekly-monthly reports
- Analyze results and set up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance
- Utilize sales information to maximize in season replenishment opportunities
- Deep dive analysis in accounts' performance and prepare presentations to highlight risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with accounts in order to better understand their business priorities and maximize opportunities
- Order book and data management
- Provide & present customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives: OTB, inventory, markdown & promotions, productivity
- Work with Demand Planning, FP&A, Operations and Buying by providing them with the necessary information and guidance for short and long-range forecasting including alignment on 3 Year Commercial Plans
- Regular site canvassing to ensure product content, media & pricing consistency
- Ensure & manage current and future data and software requirements/projects are met to provide accurate decision support to the business: Integrator tools/portals and data, SAP, Cora, EDI, Micro Strategy etc.

The accomplished individual will possess...
- 3+ years of relevant retail experience
- Expert knowledge of Excel
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and have a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

An outstanding professional will have...
- BA/BS Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years' experience of EDI & Marketplace business models
- Experience in working with Integrator platforms - Commerce Hub / Neteven a plus
- SAP experience, a plus
- Self-motivated, flexible and performance-oriented; able to work independently under time pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability and willingness to see beyond the immediate remit of the role to drive team success
